Q: What makes Poster Room's art prints different from standard posters?

A: Our art prints are printed on thick, museum-quality archival matte paper that's noticeably heavier and more substantial than standard posters. Paired with gallery-grade inks, they produce rich, true-to-life colors and sharp detail that hold up beautifully for years to come.

Q: Do framed posters come ready to hang?

A: Yes, every framed piece arrives complete with a lightweight, shatterproof acrylic cover and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.

Q: Are the art prints custom made?

A: Yes. Every poster and framed art print is custom printed and made to order, so each piece is crafted individually with care rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Taking a Bath is a charming illustration by Jean de Brunhoff, the French author and artist who created the beloved Babar the Elephant series in the early 1930s. The scene captures the gentle, storybook warmth that made de Brunhoff's hand-painted watercolour style so enduring, with soft, rounded forms, delicate linework, and a palette of warm, muted tones that feel both nostalgic and inviting. It is the kind of image that rewards a second look, full of the quiet playfulness and tenderness that defined the Babar books as a cornerstone of children's illustration.

This print is a natural fit for a nursery or child's bedroom, where its storybook quality sets a calm, imaginative tone. It also works beautifully in a playroom or a reading nook, and for collectors of vintage illustration or early twentieth-century children's art it adds genuine character to a gallery wall. The warm, soft colour palette sits well against white or cream walls and complements interiors with natural wood tones, lending a quiet, cottagecore or Scandinavian feel to the room.

The print is produced on 200 g/m2 FSC certified paper with a museum-quality matte finish that eliminates glare and lets the illustration's soft colours read true in any light. High-resolution printing ensures every fine line in de Brunhoff's original artwork is faithfully reproduced. Frames are available in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, supplied ready to hang.

Each order is printed and dispatched within one to two business days. Most customers receive their print within three to seven business days, with production handled locally wherever possible to reduce transit time and avoid customs or import fees in supported regions. Full order tracking is provided, and a 30-day return policy is included for complete peace of mind.
