Q: What makes Poster Room's art prints different from standard posters?

A: Our art prints are printed on thick, museum-quality archival matte paper that's noticeably heavier and more substantial than standard posters. Paired with gallery-grade inks, they produce rich, true-to-life colors and sharp detail that hold up beautifully for years to come.

Q: Do framed posters come ready to hang?

A: Yes, every framed piece arrives complete with a lightweight, shatterproof acrylic cover and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.

Q: Are the art prints custom made?

A: Yes. Every poster and framed art print is custom printed and made to order, so each piece is crafted individually with care rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Corrida by Leo Gestel is a striking work from the Dutch Expressionist tradition, depicting the energy and drama of a bullfight with bold, dynamic brushwork characteristic of Gestel's style. Painted in the early twentieth century, the composition channels raw movement and tension, rendered in a palette that conveys both spectacle and intensity. Gestel was known for absorbing influences from Fauvism and Cubism during his travels, and that cross-pollination is visible in the confident distortion of form and the vivid, emotive use of colour that defines this piece.

This print suits interiors that lean toward the expressive and the bold. A dining room with warm, earthy tones would provide a natural backdrop, allowing the composition's energy to anchor the space without overwhelming it. It also works well in an eclectic living room or a home studio where art is meant to provoke thought. The painting's historical subject matter pairs well with mid-century modern furniture and natural materials, though it holds its own just as well against a clean, minimal white wall.

The reproduction is printed at high resolution on 200 g/m2 FSC certified matte paper, giving the surface a soft, non-reflective quality that lets the artwork's tonal depth come through without glare. Optional framing is available in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, and every frame arrives ready to hang straight out of the box.

Each order is printed and dispatched within one to two business days, with delivery typically arriving in three to seven business days. Production is handled locally wherever possible, keeping customs and import fees out of the picture for supported regions. Full order tracking is provided, and every purchase is covered by a 30-day return policy.
