Q: What makes Poster Room's art prints different from standard posters?
A: Our art prints are printed on thick, museum-quality archival matte paper that's noticeably heavier and more substantial than standard posters. Paired with gallery-grade inks, they produce rich, true-to-life colors and sharp detail that hold up beautifully for years to come.
Q: Do framed posters come ready to hang?
A: Yes, every framed piece arrives complete with a lightweight, shatterproof acrylic cover and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.
Q: Are the art prints custom made?
A: Yes. Every poster and framed art print is custom printed and made to order, so each piece is crafted individually with care rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Morning at Mitohama is one of Hasui Kawase's celebrated shin-hanga compositions, depicting a hushed bay scene with Mt. Fuji rising in the distance above calm coastal waters. Traditional fishing boats rest along the shore in the foreground, lending the scene a grounded, human scale against the vastness of sky and mountain. Kawase's mastery of atmospheric light is evident in the gradation of blues across the water, the soft neutrals of the sandy shore, and the pale snow capped peak that anchors the horizon. The woodblock printing tradition from which this image derives gives the colour fields a quiet intensity — deep turquoise giving way to softer greens near the shore, with the whole composition balanced by an unhurried, contemplative stillness that defined the shin-hanga movement of early twentieth century Japan.
This print suits rooms where a sense of calm is the priority. A bedroom or reading nook benefits most from its cool, restful palette, and it pairs naturally with Japandi or Scandinavian interiors built around natural materials, low furniture, and muted tones. In a home office it provides a focal point that encourages focus without visual noise. The coastal subject matter also sits comfortably in a hallway or living room styled around natural textures like linen, rattan, or pale wood.
Each reproduction is printed on premium 200 g/m2 FSC certified paper with a museum-quality matte finish, preserving the subtle tonal gradations and colour depth that make Kawase's original work so compelling. High-resolution printing ensures the delicate linework reads cleanly at every available size. Framing is optional and comes in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang straight from the box.
Orders are printed and dispatched within one to two business days, with most deliveries arriving within three to seven business days. Production is handled locally wherever possible, and customers in supported regions pay no customs or import fees. Every order includes tracking, and returns are accepted within 30 days.
