Blätter V is a modernist composition by Austrian artist Karl Wiener, part of his celebrated series exploring the abstracted forms of leaves and natural shapes. Wiener reduces botanical subject matter to its essential geometry, presenting layered leaf forms with a clarity and rhythm that bridges decorative art and fine abstraction. The work reflects the influence of the Viennese avant-garde, where natural motifs were reinterpreted through a lens of pattern, structure, and restrained colour.
