Q: What makes Poster Room's art prints different from standard posters?

A: Our art prints are printed on thick, museum-quality archival matte paper that's noticeably heavier and more substantial than standard posters. Paired with gallery-grade inks, they produce rich, true-to-life colors and sharp detail that hold up beautifully for years to come.

Q: Do framed posters come ready to hang?

A: Yes, every framed piece arrives complete with a lightweight, shatterproof acrylic cover and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.

Q: Are the art prints custom made?

A: Yes. Every poster and framed art print is custom printed and made to order, so each piece is crafted individually with care rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.

The Jazz Piano Vintage Matchbox Poster draws on the visual language of mid-century matchbox label art, placing a jazz pianist mid-performance against a vivid orange ground. The figure is rendered in deep black silhouette with loose, gestural lines that suggest movement and rhythm rather than precise anatomy, capturing the physical absorption of a musician fully lost in the music. The stark two-tone palette of black and orange gives the composition a graphic energy that feels both retro and immediate, reminiscent of the bold commercial illustration styles that defined print culture across the 1940s to 1960s.

Works like this sit naturally in spaces that lean into personality and a little creative edge. A music room or home studio is the obvious home, but it reads just as well above a desk in a home office, on a feature wall in an urban living room, or as part of a curated gallery wall in a hallway. The warm orange anchors it to interiors with amber, terracotta, or warm wood tones, and it plays well within mid-century modern, eclectic, or industrial schemes where bold graphic art is welcomed rather than restrained.

Each print is produced on premium 200 g/m2 FSC certified paper with a museum-quality matte finish, keeping the high-contrast blacks sharp and the orange vivid without any glare. Optional framing is available in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, arriving ready to hang.

Orders are printed and dispatched within one to two business days, with delivery typically arriving in three to seven business days. Production is handled locally wherever possible, tracking is included, and a 30-day return policy covers every order.
