This poster set reproduces Flock of Cranes by Ishida Yutei, an Edo-period Japanese painter known for his detailed bird and flower compositions. Cranes are shown mid-flight and at rest against a luminous golden background, painted with fine, deliberate brushwork that captures individual feathers and postures. In Japanese art, cranes traditionally carry associations of longevity and good fortune, themes that come through clearly in the composition's calm, elevated mood.

The gold ground and delicate detail suit a Japandi, traditional or minimalist interior, and the set works particularly well in a living room or hallway where the panels can be arranged together as a single wide composition.
