Q: What makes Poster Room's art prints different from standard posters?

A: Our art prints are printed on thick, museum-quality archival matte paper that's noticeably heavier and more substantial than standard posters. Paired with gallery-grade inks, they produce rich, true-to-life colors and sharp detail that hold up beautifully for years to come.

Q: Do framed posters come ready to hang?

A: Yes, every framed piece arrives complete with a lightweight, shatterproof acrylic cover and hanging hardware included, so it's ready to display straight out of the box.

Q: Are the art prints custom made?

A: Yes. Every poster and framed art print is custom printed and made to order, so each piece is crafted individually with care rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf.

Le Roi Babar by Jean de Brunhoff is one of the most recognisable images in classic children's literature, and this art print brings that iconic illustrated world directly to your walls. Jean de Brunhoff's original Babar books, first published in France in the early 1930s, introduced readers to a wonderfully imagined elephant kingdom rendered in gentle watercolour-style illustrations. The artwork carries the warmth, curiosity, and quiet dignity that made the series beloved across generations, with soft colour palettes and a storybook quality that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

A print like this works naturally in a nursery or child's bedroom, where its gentle illustrated character and storybook charm set a calm, imaginative tone. It also suits a reading nook, a playroom, or even a home library where the focus is on celebrating classic illustration and literary culture. Interior styles that lean toward soft, curated, or eclectic sensibilities tend to pair well with it, and the muted tones typical of vintage children's book art sit comfortably alongside natural wood furniture and linen textiles.

The print is produced on premium 200 g/m2 FSC certified matte paper, delivering a smooth, non-reflective surface that lets the illustrated detail read clearly. High-resolution printing ensures clean lines and accurate colour throughout. Framing is available in black, white, or natural pine wood with shatterproof plexiglass, and each option arrives ready to hang.

Orders are printed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days, with delivery typically arriving within 3 to 7 business days. Production happens locally wherever possible, and orders to supported regions arrive without customs or import fees. Tracking is included, and returns are accepted within 30 days.
